We even went fishing with the host and he prepared the fish we caught right after as Sashimi and fried fish - one of our favorite experiences during our four weeks in Japan. We really hope to be able to visit Kusuburu House one day again.

Guesthouse碧 is a recently renovated guest house in Okinoshima where guests can make the most of its garden and bar. Beautiful recently renovated ryokan on the northern part of the island. Owners are unbelievably lovely. Couldn’t recommend this place more. We adored the time there.

On the first night, they invited me downstairs for fireworks; on the second, they hosted a folk concert in the attached restaurant; on the third, I ate at the restaurant and had a wonderful meal. The futon was comfortable, the bathrooms were spotless, and the room was large and traditional. Amazing people and an excellent stay.
