Easy access to the accomodation, great location to get to the airport (20 minutes walk), very nice and clean room, comfortable bed. It's super calm and quiet area. We landed there and headed to Venice the next day. Note that you should wave to bus drivers on the bus stop in order to show them that they should stop and pick you up.
Treviso is a hidden gem, great historical old town with many quaint waterways and rivers with an excellent selection of restaurants. The train takes you directly to Venice for under 5 Euro in 40 minutes. For a fraction of the price of Venice, Treviso offers a great launch for day trips.
The gentleman who welcomed us was extremely friendly and helpful. The place is rustic, clean, and pleasant, with a beautiful garden. The breakfast was simple but very tasty. Overall a very relaxing place to stay in a calm area close to the aeroport. The only thing to mention is the fact that there is no WiFi in the rooms, it is only available in common areas (this information was mentioned in the listing, so it wasn't a surprise, but someone reliant on technology like me may miss it, although this is a very personal matter and I believe most guests wouldn't mind).
Fascinating city with wonderful walks in back streets and along the canals. A short train ride from Venice and no crowds! Delicious restaurants -- especially the tagliateli bolognese. And the city is the birthplace of Limoncello and tiramisu!
Treviso is a gorgeous city, full of little secrets. Every walk we took brought us to pleasant areas, beautiful buildings. For lunch, we returned a few times to All’ Antico Pallone on Vicolo Rialto. For a good pizza, Pizzeria da Fausta on Via Portico Oscuro 10, is a sure bet. And the big bonus is how easy it is to walk to the train station and go to Venice! Or many other northern cities.
Lovely city with good food and wine The small Venice as some would say. Great locations, culture and of course the tiramisu. Don’t miss the architecture and the fountains. Stroll and walk trough the city. Stop for an aperitivo.
