Big plus is that the apartment is completely silent - considering the airport is so close, i was amazed. Also, the hosts were very helpful and generous with sweet snacks (which we forgot to consume:). Recommended!

Catania ist seit beinahe elf Jahren unsere Lieblingsstadt für den Herbsturlaub. Dieses Mal haben wir Silvester hier verbracht. Tolle Stimmung, unfassbar freundliche Menschen!
Catania ist eine sehr lebhafte Stadt. Der tägliche Fischmarkt ist bemerkenswert und auch die Möglichkeit dort frischen Fisch zu essen. Am Sonntag gibt es einen Flohmarkt. Beim Castello Ursino hatte es immer wieder Musik und Theater. Die vielen barocken Kirchen sind sehr sehenswert.
Wunderbare Stadt mit sehr netten Menschen, tollen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, viel Kultur und unglaublichen Märkten. Die Restaurants sind hervorragend, vor allem die kleinen außerhalb der Altstadt. Catania ist der perfekte Standort für Ausflüge in die Umgebung, vor allem zum Ätna und an die Küste. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder.
Catania ist eine typisch süditalienische Stadt, laut, quirlig und mit viel chaotischem Straßenverkehr, im Kern schöne Altbausubstanz, immer wieder architektonische Juwelen und antike Stätten, dazwischen viel Neubau und typische Bausünden der vergangenen Jahrzehnte, guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge ins Umland, vom Hauptbahnhof sind Taormina, Messina und Syrakus gut und schnell zu erreichen und selbstverständlich starten auch viele Touren auf und um den Ätna von hier
