We were welcomed by the owners and told everything we needed to know. The plot was private with a river view and very easy to get to as well as being in a location that gave easy access to all locations including the coast and Skegness. We will definitely book again as we came away from here refreshed and ready to go.
Tatteshall Lakes is a busy site that has seen significant investment in the main facilities over the past few years. Great for young families. Plenty to keep you entertained if you buy the Merlin passes. No access at any time to the bars or lakeside etc now without them which is a real shame. During the week it can be noisy with the planes taking off from Coningsby. Great if you love seeing them. Woodhall Spa nearby is well worth a visit.
It's a nice country village with others nearby, an excellent area for historical sites particularly relating to the Royal air force. The Battle of Britain memorial flight visitors centre located at RAF Coningsby is really worth a visit as well as the site having a good viewing area for those interested in aircraft watching.
Amazing little hide away , calm, relaxed and peaceful with amazing facilities in the apartment it self ,even why storm Dennis was underway we didn't realise how bad he had been till our journey home . Nicola was fantastic answered all my questions before hand but was still shocked with how amazing the place was and the little added extras just topped it ! Highly recommend and will definitely be back thank you .
Great amount of activities going on - kids were kept entertained all weekend. Not enough information on booking.com about having to purchase activity passes in addition to the accommodation and having to book activities up to 12 weeks in advance. Most activities were fully booked by the time we got our activity passes.
If you like aeroplanes, then this is the place to be, although it can be noisy: RAF Coningsby is an operational military fast jet station. The local pub, Packet Inn, is friendly with good beer and food (Sunday lunch). We stayed at the Stable Annex which was quirky, comfortable and we felt very welcome.
