RAF Coningsby is the home of the Battle of Britain Memorial Fleet, and there are flights on weekdays. There are viewing places around the site and a museum. The village has shops, pubs and is close to Tattersall castle, an impressive brick tower worth a visit. Reasonably close to east coast seaside towns too.
