Without a doubt we would stay here again. only 10 minutes to Ramstein's front gate. The apartment was clean, washer and dryer in basement and very comfortable to live in for 6 weeks. We went to 30 Christmas markets in the area. Also was able to spend Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years with a family member who was deployed at Ramstein Air Force Base. Grocery stores, Penny and Aldi's just down the street. If you bring your own fire stick and get a VPN (ExpressVPN $13.00 a month) was able to watch American TV on You Tube TV) Free WiFi was provided. High recommend this apartment. Free parking out front. Again, owner Moritz was excellent and exceeded our expectations

Town is nice and quiet. It’s walkable. Close to the train station. People are nice. Restaurants don’t open until 5pm, so you may need to find a cafe for lunch. Stores close early and most businesses close Sunday and Monday. The buildings in town are beautiful. I was able to walk around town after dark and I didn’t feel uncomfortable. A lot of people speak English in town. I was able to have Italian dinner are German dinner in town both were delicious. The cafe bakery Barbarossa is amazing!
I went to the Ramstein area to do Christmas shopping and do some exploring. I like the area and have been there before and want to go back. I went by train from Ramstein to the Rhine River at St Goar and did some shopping, crossed the Rhine on the ferry to St Goarhausen where I had an excellent meal at a restaurant that overlooks the Rhine and all its varied traffic. I rode the train to Saarbrucken to go to the Christmas Market and had a good time. Getting around by train is pretty easy, but make sure you can read enough German to understand train schedules and changes to time, platforms and tracks. The weather during my visit was cold, cloudy and rainy, but that is typical weather for Germany in the winter and early spring.
Small town, nothing really happening here other than easy access to a biking/walking trail - very nice. Landsthul just 10 min down the road has a couple shops and restaurants, plus the castle on the hill to explore.
Annmarie was a wonderful host! I’ve never had a host as caring and concerned about the comfort of my stay. The apartments are in a terrific location, close to many shops and restaurants, yet very quiet inside. The bed was amazingly comfortable and the bed linens were luxurious. Be sure to check out the local eateries- Oscar’s Irish Pub is a short walk and has delicious Beef and Guinness Pie. 9Chun is an Asian restaurant located around the corner and has a large menu however it was closed for the holidays during my stay. If you want a great cup of coffee and a fun place to relax, be sure to stop by Rhema Café. They have so many delicious warm and cold beverage offerings. Overall had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend!
My only real complaint was the weather. Most of the time I was here, 3rd week of May, it was cloudy and rainier and colder than I expected. The people are friendly and it was easy to get around by train from Ramstein Village. I've been here many times before, and want to come back.
I like the area, I've been here before and will go back. I like going to the Rhine, and sitting there looking at the ships going up and down. I'm going to be trying to go back in December so I can visit the Christmas markets, Ramstein is a good place to start trips to places like Saarbrucken and Heidelberg.
Location is excellent. Near to Ramstein Air Base, the town, Shell garage, McD's, Burger king. Loads of parking and close to the Motorway. Staff were excellent, very helpful and friendly. Breakfast excellent AND the scrambled egg is perfect. (Normally hotels make slimey eggs, but here they were perfect at this hotel!)
Comfort beds, very clean room and shower. Very quiet hotel (if the windows are closed). Gasstation nearby to get some snacks and drinks. Staff member were friendly. 5 min walk to Big Emma restaurant and close to Ramstein Air Base main gate.
Location was perfect, very close to Ramstein Air Base. The front desk staff was very helpful, allowing us to store our luggage until our next hotel was available. I would be happy to stay here again.
