Featuring garden views, Copper Creek Retreat in Nulkaba offers accommodations and a garden. There's a private entrance at the vacation home for the convenience of those who stay. It was really amazing stay. Perfect option for the escape from the city life! Actually, there are some cons e.g. the cabin is shaky and surrounded by nature so that there were some noises all day, there were no hair dryer, etc. But, even considering that, the environment of the accommodation was surreal, and ultimately suitable option for the getaway from the daily routine! Of course, you can easily access the attractions in Hunter Valley like wineries, restaurants, cafes, spas, garden, zoo etc.

Spoilt with the number and quality of exceptional Hunter Valley wineries. Wines were brilliant. Cellar doors very knowledgeable and willing to share their wine knowledge as needed. The compact nature of the Valley means travel is easy and without hassles. Restaurants and concert venues are 1st class. Being so close to Sydney... it's a must to visit and enjoy the world class wines!
Great place overall, but we were disappointed that the pool was listed as heated , was obvious the heater had been disconnected. Also the putt putt golf was in our opinion not usable! Room was clean and very much our taste, loved the rustic country feel . Bed was a bit to hard for us but otherwise we had a great stay.
It’s a beautiful place but the activities are still mostly for adults and couples thou there are now a few more activities for families with children mostly Iin summer depending on the accomodation facilities that offers swimming pools.
Wonderful area to visit and staying at The Crowne Plaza made our stay so very easy as they have catered for every aspect of our stay. We attended a wedding at a nearby winery so got to enjoy some of the local scenery and wines of the area which were first class, We had a meal at the Redsalt restaurant at the Crowne and could not recommend it more highly; such a wonderful experience. Our only complaint is we didn't book our stay for longer.
Pokolbin is a place to enjoy the countryside feel in comfort, for wine lovers and a great family and friends meeting place in a nice tempered atmosphere and climate. It can be relaxing or exciting depending on what is your purpose and the people you’re with. Where the wild life is plentiful and you can also connect with nature in comfort or simplicity. You have to experience to appreciate.
Easy access. Great scenery. Lovely roads to drive on. So many interesting stops. To many for a weekend - which keeps you coming back. Great food and cafes but not a fan of the $15 tasting - with no discounts from purchases, but i understand some costs need to be covered, but thats $30 a stop for couples. Thats a good wine from places - but if you fit in 5 vineyards a day, it adds up, and i dont really need to taste a full range, especially if designated driver.
