In a quiet location in Wals, 3.1 mi of the historic center of Salzburg, the family-run Hotel Himmelreich features a sauna and a garden with a swimming pool. The breakfast was quite nice. The breakfast items were constantly being refreshed and it had a wide variety to choose from.. The staff was very nice and helpful with questions I might have had. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this Hotel.

It's a private Home so had free designated parking I liked the small garden and courtyard at back where I could enjoy my morning coffee Coffee machine was good It was good to have an air conditioner because it was quite hot in june during our visit Hosts are extremely helpful and responsive. They even booked a taxi for us for the train station upon our request

One of the most comfortable apartments I’ve ever stayed in, super well built and furnished. Walkable distance to Salzburg airport and 20 min bus ride to the center. Highly recommended.

Ibis Budget Salzburg Airport - Self-Check-In is located directly at the highway junction Airport Salzburg, only 1640 feet from the Designer Outlet Center and 3.1 mi from the center of Salzburg. We needed to sleep next to the airport due to early flight, and it was a nice option in a walking distance from the airport. Standard, clean, functional hotel. Fair price.

Haus Kernstock is minutes away from the Hangar-7 with its famous Ikarus Restaurant and 1.9 mi from the Salzburg Airport. It’s a nice little place, very clean. We had 2 single rooms for my granddaughter and me. No breakfast, but didn’t expect it. It’s at the end of the street, turning the car around is a bit of work. We were looking for a simple inexpensive base for exploring Salzburg and the surrounding area, not a destination hotel with lots of services, it was just what we needed. Laundry service is available for 8 euro a load.

Elmi 22 is located in Wals, just a 19-minute walk from Klessheim Castle and 3.3 miles from Europark. Both free Wifi and private parking are accessible at the apartment free of charge. A modern home away from home. Everything you need in an apartment. We stayed for 4 nights, which was more than enough to explore Salzburg. Our daughter was most impresed by the remote control for the window shades, therefore she was the apartment sherif for light and shade. Our son was impresed by the PS4 (altough it didn't work), he used the controler to save the world :-). But we definitly apreciate Monopoly, because we all evolved into modern kapitalist.
