Stunning. Loved everything about Salzburg. We will definitely be going back. The Christmas museum is a must if you visit at Christmas time. A massive collection of Christmas decorations painstakingly collected over many years by a lady in Salzburg. Absolutely incredible and the coffee shop below was fabulous. Another place not to miss out on is a visit to St Peter’s church in the evening for drinks and live music. Very magical experience. 🎄🎄
the staff is amazing To things are subjects for improvement First 1.enrich the breakfast 2.There is no refrigerator and safe in the rooms, in my opinion this is a big drawback, a hotel with excellent service like the Kammel needs a safe and a refrigerator in the room for the comfort of the guests
Ainring was recommended by a Friend, and I am glad we did listen to her, loved its small-town flavor, easy to get too, near Bad Reichenhall and Salzburg, enough restaurants to please everyone's palate.
Unfortunately we didn't have much time to explore it. As we can see from the car wile we driving on the main street it is very nice small city. We only taste very good traditional Bavarian cuisine of Zollhausl restaurant.
Salzburg is a very beautiful place and is easy to walk around and was very magical as it was around Christmas time. We went to the Modern Art Museum and the view from outside was amazing along with the cafe that had great coffee. There is also a nice walk you can do just around the Museum that includes an old fortress. Highly recommend .
It is a residential town so not much atmosphere or amenities other than hotels. It suited us very well as it was very peaceful. Driving or taxi into Salzburg is the best option. Otherwise a bus or taxi to an out of town shopping centre plus a bus from there. We parked out the out of town shopping centre for dinner and got a parking ticket. It was not well advertised that we should have paid for parking. Nothing to do with the hotel but be warned!
