Central location, spacious room for the four people, good choice breakfast. Was also appreciated that breadsection and cornflakes were separated from the section with coldcuts. We have glutenallergie and could much more comfortable select cold cuts. Location is excellent!

Made famous for its “hills alive with the sound of music”, Salzburg is a very pretty town filled with romantic buildings and squares. If you are not yet aware that Mozart was born here, then you will be as soon as you land at Salzburg W.A. Mozart International Airport.
Further your education about this musical prodigy at his actual birthplace, Mozarts Geburtshaus. The city is the namesake of the Salzach River which runs through it, and alongside this beautiful river lays the Schloss Mirabell, one of the many impressive castles within the city limits. Schloss Mirabell and Hellbrunn with their picturesque gardens, beautiful galleries and impressive halls make the ideal spot for a picnic during summer.
The white-stone Hohensalzburg fortress is perched upon a green hill and offers magnificent views over the city. Or, you can escape it all in the Kapuzinerberg forest, which offers splendid Alpine vistas- a reminder of Salzburg’s natural beauty.
The shopping centre focuses around Alter Markt Square and Getreidegasse, the latter is a quirky street with old-fashioned signs indicating what each store sells. With 125 hotels and guesthouses available on Booking.com, your stay in Salzburg is bound to be as pleasant as this city is pretty.
Beautiful city.
The Christmas markets should accept card payments. It was very inconvenient when I was not aware of it and was refused Service because I did not have cash.
Other than that, everything is amazing. Picturesque views.
Good bus services. Helpful people.

Definitely Sound of Music tour, Andreas was our guide and he was great. We also booked Hallstatt, I wouldn't recommend here in winter, main things here The, Funicular and the Salt Mines, both were closed. Hallstatt is only very small and you get 2and a half hours here, that is too long, just a few shops and half of those were closed. We had had enough after an hour but had to sit in a cafe to pass time on so wouldn't recommend in winter. Try and go to St. Gilgen it's lovely and Mondsee very picturesque both worth going to and you can get there on the bus.

Beautiful city!
Beautiful city! We stayed in a centrally located apartment so it was an easy walk to wherever we wanted to go. The old town is awesome and the architecture is mind blowing. Some must sees, the fortress, the churches, and a stroll along the river. We also took bus 151 to Gaisberg to do a hike in the snow but it is a worthwhile trip just for the views of Salzburg and the surrounding mountains and valleys. There are gluten free options but you need to hunt them out as some places say GF on the apps but only have one or two items.

Lovely old town which is easy and compact to walk around.
Lovely old town which is easy and compact to walk around. We went in mid-December and enjoyed sauntering around the pretty streets and trying out the food and drink at the Christmas markets. The main ones in the Residenzeplatz area are good fun but for us, the real delight was the Stern brewery Advent Market tucked off the main shopping area. There are others to discover too.

Nice modern hotel. Great location. Right next to the Salzach river (my room actually had a view onto the Salzach and Salzburg old town). Close to the Hauptbahnhof, close to main points of interest. Old town is a little (but nice) walk from the motel. All in all a nice place, if a little pricey (but the. everything is in Salzburg)
I didn‘t have breakfast, didn‘t use the parking facilities so can‘t speak to that.
Loved our stay in Salzburg. Hotel 5 min walk from station and easy short walk to river and old town area. Staff lovely with helpful advice on where to go and eating recommendations. Buffet breakfast very good with a good range of options. We loved our room. Corner room with lots of natural light. Very quiet when windows closed. We like city noises though so had a window ajar some nights (autumn)
The hotel is located about a 15 minute walk from the train station and also the old town of Salzburg. It's a charming hotel and is nicely decorated. Our room was nice, quiet, and clean. The staff at the hotel were very kind and helpful. The breakfast was tasty and breakfast staff were friendly. We did enjoy our stay despite having issues with our shower not draining properly.
A quiet small hotel in the heart of Salzburg with a short walk to the Old Town. Rooms were clean with excellent facilities and very well furnished. Staff were very helpful with free coffee/tea available all day.
Highly recommended. This hotel is well situated in a quiet part of Salzburg, but walking distance from the city centre. Friendly staff and excellent facilities. The breakfast was great.
