Ibis Budget Salzburg Airport - Self-Check-In is located directly at the highway junction Airport Salzburg, only 1640 feet from the Designer Outlet Center and 3.1 mi from the center of Salzburg. Is very clean like all the accommodations we had in Austria, the beds were very comfortable, everything worked fine. We also loved the self check in that worked. Tip if you come by car : use the small self service gas station close by because it has one of the smallest prices in Austria.

2 miles from Salzburg Festival Hall, Haus Kernstock offers 2-star accommodations in the Maxglan district of Salzburg. It’s a nice little place, very clean. We had 2 single rooms for my granddaughter and me. No breakfast, but didn’t expect it. It’s at the end of the street, turning the car around is a bit of work. We were looking for a simple inexpensive base for exploring Salzburg and the surrounding area, not a destination hotel with lots of services, it was just what we needed. Laundry service is available for 8 euro a load.
