The cottage is a lovely "tiny house." It is off-grid, compact, well designed, and had everything I needed. I loved the screened in porch with a view of the ocean. It was so quiet and peaceful - I slept great there. It is off the beaten track but easy to find - a little sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of tourism. Yet is is not far from Kealakekua, Captain Cook town, Puʻuhonua o Hōnaunau National Historical Park, and Ho`okena Beach. I enjoyed meeting and talking with Arthur, the host. I plan to stay there the next time I visit my family nearby.

This is truly the best equipped accomodation on the planet. They have thought of everything one may need, from a Thermos mug to various kinds of sunscreen.
