The bungalow was fantastic: private pool, great shower, soft bed, proper kitchen, topical decorations delicious breakfast (owner is a former chef), washing machine, amazing view of the mountains. Anything you might need on your vacation. The host, his wife and their dogs were very friendly and welcoming. Fred also drove us back to the ferry to the airport. There is also a small gift that you get at the end, but I won't spoil the surprise. There is a roulette (food stand) nearby (2-3 min walk) although the host also offers dinners for an additional charge.

Modern bungalow right on the beachfront. Lovely area. Great location. The bungalow itself is very, very small. The kitchen is tiny, and so is the bathroom. We stayed for 4 nights and only had one beach towel, one hand toilet, and one bath towel each, that’s not enough if you go onto a swimming holiday!

Comfortable 2 bedroom Villa with a pool. Very good value for money. Had a good chat with the owner, who is a sommelier. Unfortunately, we took only one night but wanted to come back for more. Even if you can afford to stay in hi end resorts, staying 2-3 nights at Sunset Villa will make a lot of sense to explore Bora Bora main island.

Hidden Villas by Matira Beach ligt op 2 minuten lopen van Maitai Polynesia Bora Bora Beach en biedt een tuin en een gedeelde lounge. De accommodaties hebben airconditioning, een balkon en gratis WiFi.... Firstly Ingrid and Olivier were fantastic hosts, very friendly but not imposing, and were extremely helpful when we had trouble with late luggage deliveries and ordering taxis and other small things. The location is in the Matira Beach district of Bora Bora, a short walk to the beautiful public beach and several restaurants and beach front bar/cafes within 10 min walk. It is also very close to the MaiTai jetty where a lot of water activities can happen and Matira Point where there is a hire place and tours for jetskis. The property is just a few metres from Tiare market which is a small grocery store with most small grocery items available as well as a decent selection of wine (at Bora Bora prices of course!). The bread and french pastries from the market are magnificent but you need to arrive early to get some as they seem to be hottest items on the island! You will not go hungry or thirsty with the market so close. The villa is beautiful - very new, with modern appliances and well equipped kitchen, air conditioning in all bedrooms, a beautiful alfresco outdoor space next to the pool. The pool is fantastic, perfect way to start and end the day! The three bedrooms are very spacious with king size beds and the bathrooms are modern and tasteful. It is also very secure, we never felt at all like there was a problem - all the locals were very friendly, and say hello.
