Exceptional host - rare to come across such a tourism professional like Fred. we had a short stay on the island, but he was full of surprises, you have to check it out for yourselves. The property has a cozy room, good utensila and equipment, incl. a washing machine, good wifi, good aircon, private parking spot, nice tour options and good local advice. And not to forget the meals - his breakfast and dinner were prepared and served in a professional, tasteful manner, it is a must to try (Fred is a pro cook btw). We also loved the private swimming pool. The guest bungalow is properly separated, gives enough privacy. Fred has a very useful and efficient alarm system - his dogs. If you dont rent a car, Fred offers the pickup from the port of the airport and has some vehicles for rent as well. The property is easy to find and is situated in a calm neighbourhood. He also offers some complimentary water to the guests, nice gesture.

Lovely and new little home with a beautiful veranda. Great family owned property, very kind host. We were picked up and brought back to the ferry marina for free. The house is very close by the marina, so it is also walkable. There's a supermarket right in front of the house and the Mount Pahia hike starts very close to the house too. Just opposite of the fire-fighters. Make sure you go for the hike early in the morning with enough water. We did the hike by ourselves twice, as the fist time was foggy on the top. The second time the view was splendid.

Situated in Bora Bora, Matira Beach Raitea 1 provides accommodation 700 metres from Maitai Polynesia Bora Bora Beach and 14 km from Mount Otemanu. The location is superb, 10 metres from the water. It is described as a bungalow but read large shed with patio doors. Inside there is a large, brand new bed which is really comfortable and a nice bathroom. The kitchen area is very small but functional. Also most importantly there is air conditioning. Outside there is a lovely large deck with a huge bench and bar table and chairs. It is the perfect place to sit and watch the sun go down.

Comfortable 2 bedroom Villa with a pool. Very good value for money. Had a good chat with the owner, who is a sommelier. Unfortunately, we took only one night but wanted to come back for more. Even if you can afford to stay in hi end resorts, staying 2-3 nights at Sunset Villa will make a lot of sense to explore Bora Bora main island.

La casetta è provvista di tutto, soprattutto in cucina. I proprietari, oltre a ben tre bottiglie di acqua, ci hanno lasciato the e varie soluzioni per la colazione. Due cagnolini bellissimi (erano dei vicini) ci aspettavano sempre davanti a casa per farsi fare le coccole. La posizione non è lontana dalla spiaggia di Matira (la più bella), però non è nemmeno così comoda. Il prezzo non è così esagerato dunque ci sta. Consiglio l'auto per spostarsi. I proprietari non li abbiamo mai visti. Ci hanno dato indicazioni per le chiavi tramite whatsapp.
