This is quite simply one of the most fantastic places I have ever stayed. Harold House has been restored to immaculate condition. When we arrived, we spent ages simply wandering around marvelling at these gorgeous, well-appointed rooms and all the fascinating heritage features and items. The location is very convenient in Reefton township, but also quiet. If you are visiting the West Coast, I highly recommend staying here; we wished we had booked longer—in terms of accommodation, it was the best of our entire road trip around the South Island.

Offering sea views, Beachfront Retreat On Revell is an accommodation located in Hokitika, a few steps from Hokitika Beach and 39 km from Greymouth Railway Station. Couldn’t fault this property, very well presented and extremely comfortable. Indoor heating worked very well, and all family members were extremely satisfied. The location is amazing, with the beach right on your back door.
