I can definitely see why it has gotten great reviews! Picking up the key was easy and the host was very friendly. Yes it’s a winding drive up the mountain so you need a car but that is part of what makes it so spectacular. Amazing views from the home! Mountains and waterfalls! Warm and cozy with a nice wood burning fireplace. Comfortable bed. Fully furnished living room was so cozy after a long day of exploring Nicely stocked large kitchen is perfect for preparing meals …And a wonderful jetted tub! Only 2 of us so we never even used the two bedrooms upstairs but this would be a wonderful place for families or friend get together. Also has a washer so it was great to clean everything after a weeks worth of hiking! The town is close by ( about 10 min drive) so everything is convenient. Would recommend that you book this beautiful home in a heartbeat!

This was my favourite location during our 12 day tour of Norway! A fabulous site with absolutely STUNNING scenery all around. The "camp site" was spotless and well maintained, as was the very spacious cabin we rented. Actually, I could quite happily have moved into that cabin on a permanent basis! Falling asleep to the sound of a magnificent waterfall to one side, and a rushing bubbling stream to the other was simply magical. The owners were so friendly and helpful, and we were so sad to have to leave after 2 days to move on to the next leg of the journey! Sorry that I didn't take photos of the cabin (only a video) but it was exactly as per the pictures on the booking.com website.

This is a beautiful old red cottage just outside the township of Flam. It retains the charm of an old cottage but has been nicely renovated. It has a well-equipped kitchen, lots of space, and could easily accommodate a family. The beds are comfortable and the house is warm.

Featuring mountain views, Flygende utsiktshytte med magisk utsikt provides accommodation with a balcony, around 27 km from Kaupanger Stave Church. Modern, newly built and well furnished skiing cabin/chalet with all amenities. Very true to the images I.e. it looks fantastic and great views. We only stayed for a night but it is perfect for longer stays as well. Kitchen had everything we needed and the bathroom was large and modern.

Set in Lærdalsøyri, in a historic building, 28 km from Borgund Stave Church, Veslegarden is a holiday home with a garden and barbecue facilities. With garden views, this accommodation offers a patio. The wonderfully quaint little cottage, with its own atmosphere set in the town of Lærdal central to almost everything in town. In close proximity to Flåm. Highly recommended!
