This is the most fantastic place built around the trees and natural habitat on the outskirts of Yala national park. Everything was provided, the food was incredible and we were given a trip to the fishing village on the beach for sunset in their buggy with Suraj and Tilina. It was like a mini safari. We saw crocodiles, deer, tortoises wild boar and on the beach the boys showed us where the elephants had been earlier in the day, footprints still showing in the sand. Suraj and Tilina were both young but so knowledgeable and friendly. They provided us breakfast at 4am for our Yala safari and we can't thank them, and the manager enough for making us so welcome. Will definitely stay again if we return to Sri Lanka.

Good location. Hosts were superb and the food was amazing. Cannot recommend enough- 5 min walk to the most amazing, tranquil beach. Do not hesitate to book- you will not be disappointed!

Wild Lotus Yala ligger på en 2 hektar stor ejendom ved søen i en rolig landsby tæt på nationalparken Yala. Wild Lotus is a lovely family business and exceptional in their consideration of their guests needs. We were a multiple family group with young children and they provided delicious food as requested with consideration to allergies and child friendly meals. We loved the outdoor showers, large rooms and hammocks, and the accommodation was comfortable and clean with fly/ insect screens. We hope to return for a longer stay on our next visit to Sri Lanka.

We took them food shopping and they cooked us the most amazing Sri Lanka seafood curry's and breakfast.

It's well equipped and has a good and quiet location with several good restaurants nearby. The staff was nice and helpful.
