We were upgraded to the best room, and it was absolutely incredible- the view is the best. The food was very good, we had dinner and breakfast which was great. The staff are impeccable. So polite and very helpful. They also have a games room which was a nice change.

Nastanitev La Grande Villa je od znamenitosti Jezero Gregory oddaljena 2,6 km in ponuja restavracijo, vrt, skupni prostor za druženje ter teraso. The staff were very friendly. We had dinner here and it was amazing! The room was great too with our own balcony looking into the garden.

Offering barbecue facilities and views of the mountains, Thuring's Holiday Bungalow is set in Nuwara Eliya, 600 metres from Gregory Lake. Free private parking is available on site. The place is very clean and neat, we had fresh flowers in the room. The towels and bed linen are clean and feel nice and fresh. The location is up the hill, not close to the city centre, but very close to tea plantations and a nice 10 min road to Gregory lake. The owner is very kind and made sure to extend our stay when we requested, as well as arrange tuk-tuks whenever we needed one. Overall one of the best stays in Sri Lanka so far, highly reccommend.

Located in the beautiful Nuwara Eliya Hills, boutique hotel Langdale by Amaya offers luxury rooms with amazing hillside views. It features an outdoor pool, a restaurant and free Wi-Fi. The property itself was amazing. The building is over 130 years old but excellently maintained. As a boutique hotel it only accommodates up to 11 guests at a time, making it a very homely experience, which we loved. The staff were absolutely excellent, going out of their way to make our stay comfortable. No request was too much, or too little. And we absolutely loved engaging with them. Situated near Nuwara Eliya it boasts some amazing views which we thoroughly enjoyed as we sat down for some tea (and it was some of the best tea we’ve had) or breakfast. As a small boutique hotel, food choices can be somewhat limited but their a’ la carte menu items, in our view, would meet most tastes. The food we ate was excellent quality with pastry items (bread, croissants, cakes etc.) made on the premises. These also were excellent.

Nastanitev Townside Lodge se nahaja v osrednjem območju mesta Nuwara Eliya, le 3,4 km od znamenitosti Jezero Gregory in 10 km od znamenitosti Hakgala Botanical Garden. The hosts were exceptionally warm and friendly and accommodative. Responded to appeals promptly. Property was very clean, and the atmosphere pleasant for a holiday. The bedding and sofas were comfortable, and all necessities attended to. Privacy was ensured. Parking facility for a van was appreciated.
