Also our driver needed some assistance with the car and they went above and beyond to help him. And the couple’s daughter and our girl played together, so wonderful to see. We were shown and able to taste different Sri Lankan fruit that grow in the couple’s garden, so nice.

Really nice small stay with a kind host family. Really clean room and great bathroom with plenty of hot water. After a rainy day we enjoyed a warm shower. Located in the beautiful Nuwara Eliya Hills, boutique hotel Langdale by Amaya offers luxury rooms with amazing hillside views. It features an outdoor pool, a restaurant and free Wi-Fi. The staff were super professional and helpful. One time I went to for a sightseeing, they contacted their regular company. We were supposed to arrive at 4 pm, but I asked the driver to pass by a local shop, at 5 pm they were calling the driver to check if I'm okay or not. They also celebrated my birthday. This is perfect place for whoever is looking for elite standards.

Well set in the centre of Nuwara Eliya, Townside Lodge is a recently renovated holiday home, which provides free WiFi, a garden and free private parking for guests who drive. The place is really awesome and one of a kind. The weather is chilly as hell but you can have the barbeque lit and warm yourself. The owners are really cool and friendly. We had a great time with them. I honestly recommend this place if you want to have the best of experience in Nuwara Eliya.
