A kind and welcoming guy he made us all feel very welcome and looked after. The property itself has a really feeling of a traditional Japanese house but with all the comforts- air conditioning, fridge, washing machine etc. Manabu’s restaurant just a minute away is delicious and the rice balls for breakfast he made each day for us was so generous . Can’t recommend this place enough .

Good communication before the arrival. She arranged dinner and breakfast (both delicious). Also arranged luggage transport to the next destination. It all went smoothly and effortlessly. It is possible to do laundry in the cottage. This might be handy after hiking at Kumano Kodo for couple of days.

The house was spotless and had all the necessary amenities for a very comfortable stay. We loved that it’s a fusion of traditional Japanese and modern interior decor. Looks like it has just been done up. All the appliances look new. Our host is a lovely lady who showered our child and us with omiage and treats. Wish we could stay longer!
