The house itself is very spacious and build in a playful way. We enjoyed our stay here to the fullest, especially by the super, super friendly staff; who spoke perfect English (❁´◡`❁) and made us feel at home right away. Everything was clean and tidy, not a single point to complain about. The surrounding scenery, takes you to a complete other world compared to other places we visited so far and was amazing to behold. He personally organized several tours for us, showcasing the best of Echizen's rich culture and history. His dedication and local knowledge made our trip extra special. Tabaki itself is a gem, steeped in history with beautiful, well-preserved architecture. Every room tells a story, and the traditional design combined with modern amenities provided a comfortable and unique stay. Breakfast was another highlight – delicious and thoughtfully prepared, offering a variety of local specialties that gave us a true taste of Echizen. Overall, our stay at Tabaki was exceptional. The host's hospitality, the amazing house, and the fantastic breakfast all contributed to an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Echizen!

Total walking was about 8-10 minutes. We followed google map walking route that made us zigzag walking through the dark and quiet street that it's not good. House was clean enough with full kitchen and fridge. they provided mattress and futon for sleeping on tatami.
