It's in a central spot within walking distance to the supermarket and train station, it may be a bit of a walk but the town is so beautiful it's well worth it. The host was very warm and welcoming and easy to contact. I highly recommend staying here if you are visiting the area :)

We enjoyed our stay here to the fullest, especially by the super, super friendly staff; who spoke perfect English (❁´◡`❁) and made us feel at home right away. Everything was clean and tidy, not a single point to complain about. The surrounding scenery, takes you to a complete other world compared to other places we visited so far and was amazing to behold. Want to enjoy the amazing sunset? Featuring a garden and views of garden, Obama Machiya Stay is a recently renovated holiday home set in Obama, 42 km from Maizuru Brick Park. Beautifully decorated old style apartment. A real opportunity to stay in an old fashion house. Very comfortable. Perfectly outfitted.They have several locations in the city. Google maps shows only one house. Have to pick up keys some miles from Obama station--have to take taxi. But I had not read the instructions carefully. The instructions were clear and everything was fine. Taxi driver to key pick up was exceptionally helpful.
