Set in Grundarfjordur in the West Iceland region, *Two bathrooms* Beds for 9 pers. Great view offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. GREAT place for the value. Four of us stayed two days. Three bedrooms, which was really nice after staying in some VERY small cramped hotel rooms. Was towards the end of the trip, so it allowed us to decompress after driving around the entire country. Important to note: Hit a very convenient grocery store early in the day. We tried to go after dinner, and it closed at 6 pm. Would absolutely recommend this place if you're going to the West Fjords (Grundarfjorour area). Also, it's not a bad drive for timing to see sites in this pensula from this location.

This house was perfect! The setting is so peaceful and quiet. A great location for exploring the peninsula. It is well equipped with everything you need to prepare meals, and relax. It was our mid-week stop so being able to do some laundry was a bonus.

Marbakki was a very beautiful, secluded property. My family and I loved the design of the house - it was very cozy and made us feel right at home. The villa had a lot of great touches including a well stocked kitchen (various spices, coffee pods, etc.) and yoga mats. The rooms were small, but the beds were very comfortable. Although there is only one bathroom, it was spacious and very clean. The outside deck overlooking the ocean and the hot tub were amazing. We enjoyed sitting and relaxing in the hot tub while taking in the ocean and mountain views. I highly recommend taking an evening or morning walk on the beach! Our family really enjoyed this villa and we will keep it on our list for future Iceland trips!
