Once you are there you become part of the family and you will not want to leave :) The breakfast is delicious and the house itself is very charming. It is located near a rice field, close to the city center (walking distance) but quiet. So far the best homestay I have been. Thank you very much for everything and see you soon in Europe :)

The guest house was a wonderful gem in the middle of Rantepao, conveniently located near all the Tana Toraja points of interest. I had a traditional Torajan home all to myself and it felt so special. The place was extremely clean, had all I needed. It is part of a typical Torajan family's compound. Aldi, the host went out of his way to help and assist me with everything. He even waited for us until late at night (and I felt horrible about it, because it was like 1.30 AM when I arrived), as I was driving from Makasar and arrived later than expected. He organized a 2 day tour with Mr. Ino (also recommended), who showed me around the main sights at VERY reasonable cost. The place was spotless, comfortable, and felt like I was in a documentary. Absolutely recommended. As for Tana Toraja.... it is a unique corner of our world. Make sure you spend at least 2 days there to see everything. Ask for Ino's services.

Toraja Homestay & Coffee Bunna encontra-se em Rantepao e providencia um terraço. O alojamento tem jardim e estacionamento privado gratuito. It was such a treat to stay in a traditional tongkonan for our last night in Toraja! We absolutely love the experience. The room inside tongkonan is very comfortable, the mattress was super cosy. The bathroom was the nicest we’ve had in Indonesia- brand new, with two sinks and even hot water! Mama Valen is a wonderful host and cook. Our dinner curry was the best mean I had in Indonesia.

The staff is absolutely wonderful; always kind, smiling and going extra miles to make their guests feel happy and spoilt. They will help organize anything you need and chat with you if you wish to know more about the culture. The owner is very attentive, too, smiling while she mingles around the guests. There is no coincidence in Tevana being the best ranked accommodation in Bira. We have fully enjoyed our stay here and would be happy to return some day. <3

It is the best place, the people are so kind that I felt like family, the houses are beautiful with toraja architecture, the hosts taught us the typical food and all the time were aware of us, the food is very good and John gave us a tour and took us to a funeral, John is very kind, he taught us a lot about the people and traditions and treated us very well, I would like to return, I wish them the best because they are very good people, John also went to pick us up and drop us off at the bus terminal
