We stayed in Poppy's Place, which had everything we needed for a really comfortable stay and included eggs, milk, orange juice, and yummy pancakes! The hot tub was excellent. Anne is a very special host - very welcoming and friendly, and more than happy to help with anything.
Falkirk
Located 22 km from Hopetoun House, 32 km from Edinburgh Zoo and 38 km from Murrayfield Stadium, Weedingshall Lodges provides accommodation set in Falkirk. There is a private entrance at the holiday home for the convenience of those who stay. There is an outdoor fireplace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. Our glamping pod was well-equipped and very comfortable both inside and out (loved the fire pit!), with easy parking. The breakfast hamper was generously stocked and topped up daily. Location-wise, the site is tucked away amid trees and greenery. Shops were a short walk away and we found plenty to do in the Falkirk area during our 5-day stay. We saw various members of staff during our stay and they were all incredibly helpful and friendly, doing everything they could to ensure we enjoyed our time at Weedingshall. And the amazing hot tub provided the perfect start or end to each day!
Falkirk

Within walking distance of the ScotRail, the grocery store and other conveniences, walkable neighborhoods. The living space was great for us, very clean, all the amenities we needed, bed was comfortable, shower hot with great water pressure. A great, private parking space off the road. And our hosts were amazing!

The property has inner courtyard views and is 23 km from Glasgow Botanic Gardens and 24 km from University of Glasgow. This 4-star holiday home offers private entrance. Very well located, clean and complete cottage (ranging from modern kitchen utensils to the huge interactive flatscreen tvs in every room). The common area with a table tennis, table football and pool table was another plus. Oh and the hot tubs are amazing! Takes a bit of time to heat them up but then they are just fantastic.
Balmaha

The room was very comfortable, bedcovers extraordinary. The room is large, well equipped including bathrobes. The kitchen is fully equipped, tea and coffee provided. Bathroom shared with one other room, not a problem in our case since the second night nobody occupied the second room. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. The village is a few steps away and features a shop and a cozy pub. A national bike track, 7, passes by the House.
Very nice hotel. Good breakfast. Large room including seating area with two armchairs. There are restaurants close by. Nice village to walk around.

We got great time at Luxury Mill house lodge. it was big house with multiple roos with nice decoration and furniture. Have private car parking and private access path to the Loch Tay. More than that, We had our own Hot Tub facing directly to nature and next our own access of the small waterfall. It was really great stay. Co op available by car 15 minutes away. There is also Farm shop 5 minutes by car.
The resort is absolutely fine, it was good in all aspects, Rafters restaurant was delicious, the menu is good, the waiters were nice, the staff in general were helpful in all terms, they help us finding taxi to visit the village.
Location of hotel in city centre close to railway station. Breakfast menu and facilities. Overall value for money but the luxury in restrant and foyer belied the less than luxurious guest rooms.
Perfect tranquil setting ,, waking up to open French windows seeing the cows and sheep in the fields ,, sat round the fire pit at the evening ( logs available at reception) great couples romantic retreat ,, never been anywhere like it and will 100% book here again , beautiful restful place ,, little village 2 mins away with shop and pub.
Riverbank is a beautiful couples retreat situation right next to the river and close to everything in Pitlochry. We loved our tay there, the cottage is comfortable, clean and has everything you need. So many lovely walks around the village and Loch Lomond National Park. The view from Craigower hill is quite something and well worth the walk.
Was walking the West Highland Way, camping in my tent, but decided to have one night in a pod on a particularly wet day for a bit of luxury and to dry out! Superb welcome by staff - very friendly and full of good advice and tips. Small shop on site selling essentials. Good drying room and showers. Great feel to the place. Close to good food options in the village. Hit the mark for me.
