A lovely cabin with everything we needed for our week long stay. Everything was as pictured and described. The location was absolutely perfect, right on the falls of dochart and with nice cafes and a few pubs within walking distance. The hosts were absolutely lovely and provided us with a comprehensive guide to the area and suggested things to do. We could not have felt more welcome, especially our dog!

We had our room in the Glenruar house, which belongs to the bigger Best western hotel. The staff was very friendly, we could leav our bags at the reception, before the check-in, so we could explore the village. The room had a good size, the beds were comfy, the bathroom was very clean. The breakfast is good, but a lá carte, which is ok for two, three days, then it could get monotonous.

Everything was fine. Service in the restaurant was cheerful - one waiter in particular. Just a few minutes walk from the station (if you take the exit to the East of the station, not the one through the village)

Andrea and Rod were very friendly hosts and exceptionally helpful. They dried my walking boots and cooked a lovely breakfast. There was a power cut in the village and they made me sandwiches and a glass of wine.

Bar & reception area was being renovated during our stay (booked 2 family lodges). The lodges were clean, tidy and excellent value for money. The new owners went out of their way to provide a great continental breakfast for us to start the next day. These lodges are perfect for a group on the WHW. Benches outside for socialising and close enough to the village. Would highly recommend and wish the new owners the best of luck. I think this place will be excellent when it’s completed.

The location was very convenient for an overnight stay on our way up to the Isles. Our hosts were lovely and looked after us very well. They gave us tips for local walks from the house and local eateries. The village pub was a 2 minute walk away and served good homemade food. Our room was extremely comfortable with a modern ensuite bathroom. Breakfast was tasty and they catered for all our dietary needs. We would definitely stay again.

The room was warm comfortable and very clean. All facilities functioned well (though TV and kettle not used). The evening meal and breakfast were excellent with very good local ingredients. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. The location is perfect, in the centre of the village and positioned between the two railway lines departing from Crianlarich station. Parking facilities were excellent.
