This was one of the most amazing vacation experiences of my entire life. The property is incredibly beautiful. It is very secluded so you can just experience nature at it's best. The house is fantastic. It has hot water for the shower!!! That is a clincher for me. The host was more than helpful and gave me so much information I couldn't remember it all. The waterfall near the property is enchanting. I can imagine living here and writing the great american novel. This is one of those places where those things happen. LOL

We had a wonderful stay in refugio de playa in September 2024. The villa is modern and clean with air conditioning among palm trees with easy access to a private beach with a day bed, comfortable chairs and hammocks. The area has a lot to offer from the tayrona national park to stunning waterfalls but its worth hiring a car. The hosts went out of their way to make our stay memorable, providing a blow up swimming pool, swing, and many toys for our two year old and helping us plan activities - even calling on relatives to provide us with a place to stay during our day trip to tayrona.

This is an amazing and stylish new property, well located in close proximity to Parque Tayrona and the beach at Mendihuaca. It is spacious enough for a large family and has a great kiosk and bbq area. The grounds are lush and well kept as the rest of the property. We felt so welcome by the owners on arrival and the property keepers Luz and Yair looked after us very well throughout our stay and took us on a day trip to the nearby river and made the most delicious sancocho on site. Would definitively recommend a stay here in this family and dog friendly property.

Jungle surrounds you with a 360° view on the mountains. lagoons for swimming are also closeby. Vibrant toucans flit through the trees, and the sounds of hawling monkeys wake you up in the morning. While gazing upon the majestic mountains of the Sierra nevada with your morning cofee, this is a promise of an unforgettable immersion in Colombia's natural beauty.

The hammocks were incredible to lay in. The pool was so nice! It was just wonderful all around. Very easy to get to the national park by bus or moto taxi. ALSO: breakfast was AMAZING!

Very large living room, kitchen very well equiped, rooms very comfortable and a natural garden very beautiful 😊! The property owner was very helpful and kind 🙏
