We thought it was well situated between Westlake and shopping village
The rooms were amazing. Very high tech. Automatic curtains, luxurious linen. The shower has amazing push button controls that I quite enjoyed. The glass lift with an amazing outside view was spectacular. The hotel must've been recently upgraded, and no expense was spared in maikng it first class.
The location is perfect for a variety of walking tours, very near the lake but also with a small village feeling. Tastefully designed, comfortable, and exceptionally friendly. Feels more like visiting friends than just a tourist trip. The other travelers one meets at the breakfast table that Sally prepares with such great care are a great bonus.

I couldn't have found it any better! The small neighbourhood has an almost village-like character and is located near the beautiful Westsee lake. There are nice cafés and restaurants all around and plenty of secular, religious and natural excursion destinations. So the location is great! What I found most wonderful was the friendliness of the owners! They were incredibly helpful and forward-thinking in every situation. Thank you for the great support for me as a foreign, non-Chinese speaking traveller.
The location was excellent. The hotel itself was in immaculate condition. It was clean, comfortable and luxurious. The staff were extremely friendly, especially 臭臭. He went above and beyond in making our stay enjoyable and comfortable. Pro tip, he makes a killer coffee! We were so impressed with the hotel that we’re going back again in a couple off months and are very much looking forward to it!
Fantastic homestay-style hotel in the heart of an authentically local area, surrounded by restaurants, cafes and the odd bar. A real step away from the commercial districts of Hangzhou and very handily placed for the sights around West Lake. Amazing and welcoming hosts who spoke reasonable English and go out of their way to make you feel at home. Decent WiFi, cute rooms! If you want luxury and mod cons, try somewhere else. If you want a home away home in a great (and absolutely safe) area, come here.
