Beautifully rennovated & well furnished property with a large upstairs 2nd bedroom loft. Large kitchen & dining table. Main bedroom with a desk, TV, 2 couches & coffee table opens onto a garden with an 150yo Ash tree. Both bedrooms have comfy queen-sized beds. Also a lounge area. The bathroom has a roomy shower. The location is in a historic area, with amazing houses designed with turrets & brookie-lace trim & many churches in the immediate neighborhood. There are excellent restaurants within a very short walk. We were lucky to be the first guests at Villa Magaritha & to find such a gem as this! Definitely planning to come back! Friendly, responsive hosts. Highly recommended stay!

We loved everything about the place. The lovely big kitchen that has all the equipment you will need. The rooms was spacious with beautiful bathrooms, liked the shower in the main bedroom the most. Children loved that there was wifi and the pool mostly. Liked that is was close to all the necessary shops needed.

Cango Retreat Ou Tol is perfectly situated in a valley surrounded by mountains and close to the Cango Caves, as well as Wilgewangel, where you can find a playground of things to do with your family. Our cottage had everything we needed to make our stay special, even a little playground for the kids. Love that the chalets and cottages are situated on the bank of a river, so pack a little fishing rod and enjoy the best place to stay in Oudtshoorn.
Unbelievable luxurious quiet retreat in the heart of the mountains. The tents and the lodge were both beautifully appointed with lovely rustic touches and absolutely everything you could need. The barbecue and cooking facilities are some of the best we ever seen and for the price per night there is no better anywhere. It’s absolutely top of the list of places to stay
Book the villas and the family room, if you want to do work as the other units are not work friendly because there is no desk and chair. However, the staff made alternative arrangements for me.
The property is safe, excellent value for money and very quiet.
Everything about the place, I recommend Karoo Retreat Catering Villas and bed and breakfast. The place is soo clean inside and out, plus lovely stuff

we booked the luxury tent which was indeed luxurious, with a very nice open-window bathroom and sufficient heating possibilities (blankets, electric blanket, heating machine)

The Luxury tent was really luxurious in side and the view on the river was great.the staff made us felt welcome.the animals on the farm is also a bonus to look at.will definitely visit again.
