Joel has created the most amazing space for people to get away from it all and reset. We loved the freshwater natural pool, the outdoor bath, shower and toilet. Cango Retreat Ou Tol is perfectly situated in a valley surrounded by mountains and close to the Cango Caves, as well as Wilgewangel, where you can find a playground of things to do with your family. Our cottage had everything we needed to make our stay special, even a little playground for the kids. Love that the chalets and cottages are situated on the bank of a river, so pack a little fishing rod and enjoy the best place to stay in Oudtshoorn.
Unbelievable luxurious quiet retreat in the heart of the mountains. The tents and the lodge were both beautifully appointed with lovely rustic touches and absolutely everything you could need. The barbecue and cooking facilities are some of the best we ever seen and for the price per night there is no better anywhere. It’s absolutely top of the list of places to stay
Book the villas and the family room, if you want to do work as the other units are not work friendly because there is no desk and chair. However, the staff made alternative arrangements for me.
The property is safe, excellent value for money and very quiet.
Everything about the place, I recommend Karoo Retreat Catering Villas and bed and breakfast. The place is soo clean inside and out, plus lovely stuff
