Location was great and the apartment very clean. We were there in December so it was quite cool. Difficult to stay warm but the fireplace was a real bonus. Comfy bed and well equipped apartment. Did not have a phone to contact the owner so that posed a problem accessing the unit but once we got in everything was ok.

Everything about this place was excellent. Maria is preserving this 600 year old pilgrimage village by herself with no help from Portugal Tourism. Support her by staying in this lovely setting. The nearby restaurant above the village, O Poço is lovely also. Easy to get to and parking no problem.
The apartment was very inviting and cosy. Had everything we needed for our stay.

Breakfast was a huge selection, including fruits, homemade cakes, and jams.
Highly recommended, you won't regret it.
The village history from 1460,the church is original as is most of the village.Maria the hostess was lovely,personality and informative. The breakfast varied and very nice.
It is in a 600 year old village and it seems little has changed. The house was spacious and authentic, with air con. Experiencing the historical significance of the village gave a brief insight in life in yesteryear.

Everything, the house and all the amenities (swimming pool), the village, the restaurant "O poço". Peaceful and relaxing area, but a car is needed, no transports on the village.
