Perfect for families, groups or couples who enjoy luxury and independence while travelling. Enjoy the space and privacy of these fully-furnished, self-standing mansions — travellers can cook, lounge and explore at their leisure. Note that in Bali, a resort will also be called a villa.
We used Hotel Colomba as our base for a month while we rode our bicycles around the area. Owner was helpful, generous, stored our bicycle boxes and spoke English. Breakfast was extensive and varied. Rooms were impeccably clean and beds comfortable. Close walking distance from the centre of town, but a quiet little retreat amidst the noise of Huaraz.
Nicely decorated and well apointed bungalow set in a lovely garden. Huarez is a noisy and rather chaotic city however Villa Valencia was an oasis of calm, secure, quiet, clean and green. although we had a full kitchen an excellent breakfast was provided.
The access to bikes was a game changer. Fidel and Rosa were so responsive, friendly and helpful. The location felt perfect, close to Huaraz for easy collectivo or taxi rides, close to many hikes, and in a perfect village of friendly people.
We stayed for 5 nights in Valencia Villas in Huaraz. The accommodation is nicely designed with an interior yard and garden. The center of Huaraz is an easy walk of 15 min. Our room was very spacious and convenient, a fully equipped kitchen was included. The beds were comfortable, Wifi was good. Breakfast is included and of very good quality. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Taken together, Valencia Villas provides very good value for money and is a perfect option for a stay in Huaraz.
La Casa de Zarela was a wonderful retreat during our stay in Huaraz. Zarela is so hospitable, made a delicious breakfast, and gave great tips for hikes to do and food to eat in the area. The lodging itself is comfortable, clean, and absolutely gorgeous, with hummingbirds that come to visit the garden and nice views of the mountains.
