We loved the hidden retreat tucked away in Mother nature. Has everything you need to kick back and relax in the beautiful nature. Not far from upperhutt, but yet it feels like you're out in the middle of nowhere. Would differently come back again. Very close to wildfinder, which is why we were down in the first place to take in the nature and enjoy our time away.
We were made to feel very welcome with good communication and all the little extras were much appreciated. Arriving in the dark to all the lights on and a welcoming fire 🔥 👌 😍 Thankyou Helen and Tony . Will be recommending you to people wanting a quiet retreat .
Marg and Phillip were so accommodating and hospitable. Their separate guest farmhouse was very comfortable and the upstairs bedroom was a pleasant surprise! Idyllic countryside surrounds the property. We loved visiting with Nancy, a very curious horse, and exploring some of the nearby tracks and villages. Last, we appreciated the use of the washing machine to do a load of laundry.
We really cannot fault this beautiful accomodation! Teresa our host was so helpful, kind and accommodating. We had everything that we needed and more, we felt so comfortable with all of the amenities, the location was superb! A beautiful little retreat home away from home.... It was a lovely apartment and the location was fairly good. It's easy to reach the central city by bus. It's not the cheapest stay if you are just looking for a simple place to stay, as it is a rather luxurious. However, the value for money is really good. I really recommend this place if you need to relax and is looking for a slight staycation.
A beautiful river retreat, very cozy and warm. Feeling blessed to have stayed there with a friend who needed an escape away for a night. The surrounding country side and river access was a bonus:-) Hosts are lovely. A perfect tranquil getaway.
