Feels totally new. Great little bing area and kitchen. Everything you need. Bed was very comfy and bath area was great. Shower had almost instant hot water and plenty of it. Wifi was strong and fast. Is in town and easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. Definitely a great location and excellent units.

Chappies Place had everything we needed & more making for a luxurious stay. The house is flat which was a huge bonus as it made it easy for my elderly father to get around. Leanne (the host) was prompt in answering any questions we had. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and wouldn't hesitate to stay again if we make it back to Nelson.
We loved the attention to detail including a cocktail recipe & a beautifully presented tray with all that was needed to make it.

The location of this B&B is excellent, very close if you are going to explore Abdel Tasman National Park, in the Riwaka village, sufficiently far away from Motueka town traffic.
The garden is very nice, well maintained and spacious to provide privacy to all guests.
There are five units equipped with private facilities, electric kettle, but there is no fridge or stove in the room. Eating in rooms are prohibited.
The wifi network works very well throughout the facility, including the garden.
Avalon Manor was easy to find and handy to the village.
On arrival we asked for a unit away from the road and we were up graded to a larger unit for no extra cost. It had a rural outlook and very quiet. The unit had everything we needed and very clean.
