Héctor is super accommodating as a host.
The casita is on his property but very private.
It has a well-appointed kitchen with a fridge,
Toaster oven and two-burner gas stove top.
The bedroom and bath are upstairs with a great king-size bed and nice linens. There are fans on both levels and A/C on the top level. Simply opening the windows at night and using the fans is our favorite way to sleep. Lots of windows with screens throughout the casita. The shower has hot water - which is not a given in rural Oaxaca.
Hector also provided us with a 5 gallon bottle of water. There is a coffee pot and an Oster blender conveniently located on the counter.
My husband swam in the pool outside our room daily. It’s cold and refreshing.

Warring, manger is a thief, a liar and doesn’t care about his establishment or his guests!!! Never book here!!! Worst travel experience ever! No one was at the facility to greet me and worse this manager Gael was not even in the country to run his establishment. Why would you book a room knowing no one would clean it? I checked in to a complete dark place where there were absolutely no lights in the common area, it was dark and dangerous to walk around. When i finally got in my room, the room was not turned. How can anyone be expected to sleep on dirty sheets from the last customer? The room smelled as there was trash in the trash cans, towels smelled horrible, the drinking cup was filthy and to make all of these matters worse, there were roaches in the room. I don’t know what horrible manner would book a room knowing he wouldn’t be there. No one was there if any guest need anything? Booking shouldn’t allow horrible management like this to be booked. Worst part about this was his attitude!! Not only did he agreed to pay me back ( as no one should pay for an un turned room) but he lied and told me it was on booking to take a few days to return my money. Well booking just emailed me as i have been following up and they said he was not returning my money. This establishment is a disgrace and the manager is a thief!!! Horrible experience that I wish no one should ever experience again!!! Do not stay here!!!! You have been warned

Location was good. It is not set up for short stays, but would work better for people staying several nights. Did have mosquito screens.
