It was a comfortable stay. The villa made us feel at home. The facilities were nice and so was the location - very close to the beach to catch the sunsets or walk to a few restaurants that are about 10-15 mins away. The owner was quick in getting an issue fixed with the door lock which was great!
The pool was fantastic to cool us down during the days and even nights as Puerto Escondido can get very hot during the days!

The location is just minutes from the best beaches of Puerto Escondido. We rented a car since the property is a few minutes from the main road and we have kids, but you could rent a moto which is very popular to do. The house is beautifully built. The 5 of us slept well. The kitchen has everything you need. The TVs are big. The water is lukewarm, not hot, but that’s okay in the tropical weather. There is also an outdoor shower for post-beach days. The beautiful palapa roof is made of dried palm leaves and is stunning on the top floor. The natural roof has tiny insects which may come into the room, but they do not bite, and Hector said he will likely install a net above the bed to ensure it’s not a problem. We were not too bothered by it. Hector and Mariana are wonderful hosts. anything you need just ask and they will fix it. They also give good tips for places to eat or things to do. They want to make guests happy. Our family really appreciated the attention to detail. He keeps the lawn beautiful with plants and a lovely pool too. He has an open-air palapa on his home next door which we were able to use to swing in the hammock and enjoy the ocean views and breeze. Wow!

We only stayed one night but could have happily stayed longer. A large, airy, spacious room with comfortable beds and useful small kitchen space with everything you need. The shower had warm water and good pressure. The terrace was lovely with beautiful sea views and a comfy hammock. Staff were friendly and welcoming. An easy walk to the beach and bars/restaurants.
