We didn't expect to find a live-in landlord however when we met Mouna, she was a great host. She keeps herself to herself in her own quarter but we felt very welcomed and throughout the entire trip we ended up keeping her as part of our family.
Our trip was exceptional and whatever help we needed Mouna was there to assist. Honestly I'll definitely be returning to Fez and Mouna's villa is going to be my regular play to stay.
Very close to nearby amenities including shopping, restaurants and cafes although it would be a good idea to rent a car.
Very safe neighborhood and as mentioned previously, without Mouna the trip would not have been the same.
In the past the host has made the trip awkward but this experience was different, our children also love it. Definitely book a guide to Medina, you'll enjoy it more and it's a MUST SEE.

A lovely bit of luxury right in the Medina. We parked our car about a 15 minute walk away and were met by a man who trolleyed us and our bags in. The hotel is stunning and the staff are very friendly. Very clean and comfortable. The staff also organised a guided tour for us which was excellent. The view from rooftop was really nice. We will stay here again when we come back as we came on a Friday and almost everything was shut. Breakfast was outstanding too.

Affordable luxury within part of a 14th century palace. Amazing rooms, friendly staff, a good continental breakfast with eggs and fresh bread / pastries every morning. Situated on the edge of the Medina so good for Taxis, while within easy walking distance of all the sights of Fez. My wife had a massage in the Riad's own spa, we also enjoyed a very good meal that the Riad prepared one of the evenings. Highly Recommended, we will definitely go back when we return to Fez.
Wonderful oasis just outside of Fez. We really enjoyed our stay, everything was great, the room, the breakfast, the helpful staff, the pool, the huge terrace, the atmosphere. The location is also excellent as it allowed us to relax from the busy medina in Fez. The Riad is on a villa street in the modern neighbourhood. 10/10

The place is not really a riad - its a luxurious villa, with lovely cozy and private rooms. The staff is super attentive and will do everything to make you feel comfortable. Generouse and delicious breakfast and dinner. Convinient place if you have a car to park.
The best thing about this property is the owners.
Owned by a lovely couple and their children. Always very happy to help, give advice and solve any problem.
They even drove us into town a few times !
The next best thing is the setting. So the place is a big olive farm with a few villas in it and a mini resort.
It has a children's playground with swings, roundabout, basketball. It has a football pitch. It has 3 swimming pools, one is women only and one is for kids. it even has animals like geese and peacocks.
My husband and I want to express our gratitude to the owners of the house for their hospitality. They were as kind to us as they were to our relatives. They were kindly told an interesting route from Fez to Marrakech, as well as sights in these cities. Breakfast was great! Jozef and Fatikha are the wonderful owners of a luxurious mansion, where every detail is selected with taste.
