Staff were friendly and breakfast was good. Rooms were clean, large and lot of greenery around. The location is a bit interior but the view and calm around makes it well worth it. TV had a very good collection of English channels. They have a restaurant on property with a variety of options. View from the restaurant is superb.

Its run by the lovely couple who caters to your every need. From arranging tuk tuk to organising Safari with take away breakfast (thank you)! The place they have is a real oasis among those we visited so far, hidden away, quiet, calm and perfect to relax and rest after visiting Yala park. Cabanas are near the river and surrounded by garden which provides a little safari in front of your window: tens of birds, monitor lizards, mongooses and many others. Real gem. Try it!!!

Host arranged Yala safari for us. Above all a splendid picnic breakfast was provided, which was provided early in morning at 430 am so that we can take it with us for the safari.
Mosquito repellent was provided and it was useful.

Super friendly host who organised breakfast when we came back from safari and even a taxi to our next destination the day after. Room was spacious and air con was lovely, we even had a kitchen! Good base point for Yala, only about 35mins drive away, highly recommend.

Udara, the host, was very kind and accommodating. I had many questions about good places to eat, the Yala safari, and more, and he patiently answered all of them.
I stayed here for three days and two nights.
On the first day, I had lunch and dinner at a local restaurant. Since my safari was scheduled for 5 AM the next morning, I asked Udara to pack breakfast, and they provided vegetarian burgers and sandwiches. Later, I ordered a vegetarian dinner with eggs as an extra, which was well worth the price. The taste, quality, and portion size were excellent for two people. The complimentary breakfast was also fantastic, and they packed another breakfast for my early morning safari.
Additionally, Udara arranged transportation for my next destination at the same rate as the PickMe app. He also accepts card payments.
Since most people visit Yala for the safari, Udara can assist with arranging Jeeps and entry.
Neem Tree House is located in Kirinda, just 6.3 miles from Tissa Wewa and 17 miles from Situlpawwa.

Our stay at the Neem Tree House was definitely a perfect getaway! The team was fantastic, very accommodating and prepared some great food during our stay. The property is 20 minutes from the National park and arrangements can be done through the property. There is a lake close by where you can spot many alligators and a tree house where you can spend hours enjoying a bon fire. Will definitely visit again!

Absolutely stunning place. Well designed. Having just been to Marrakech in Morocco, this resort reminded us of a luxurious Riad! Excellent food, super pleasant staff and helpful owner! Perfect springboard for Yala. Our excellent safari driver, Mari, turned out to be a perfect leopard spotter (organised by My Village)
The resort is beautifully maintained, supported by an extremely helpful and motivated team. The apartments in the villas are very spacious and very clean. The kitchen also deserves a compliment for the delicious curry dishes. Extra points for the swimming pool.

Rice Rice villas is in the middle of nowhere, but that’s part of the charm. The view on the rice fields is amazingly beautiful and the swimming pool is so relaxing. The rooms were very clean with good airconditioning (which was needed!) The staff is super helpful. 100% recommended!
We stayed in the standard room (not the villas). Comfortable room and bathroom. Good price-quality, expected for what you pay. The room has AC, fan and hot water; and the beds are comfortable. The owners are a very kind family, they will help you with everything you need. They prepared us a delicious dinner.
The best thing about this place, in addition to the size of the private villa, the views from the private pool, the serenity of the place at night, was probably the manager and the staff who worked alongside him. Friendly, attentive, warm, good attention to detail.
