The owner Nihal met us at a point when we lost our way and Nilanthi, Nihal's wife met us at the villa and gave us a very warm welcome. Both Nilanthi and Nihal are excellent hosts as they provided us with everything we needed and always enquired of our needs. Nilanthi even helped me a great deal to organise a lunch party to my relatives. We parted as friends and we will definitely stay at Villa Kresilda on our next visit to Gampola. The place is amazing, rooms have a beautiful view, food is great, staff is welcoming, Bryan was taking care of our every need - he cooked, served and toured us around the facility, no did not exist in his book. He made the stay truly wonderful. Also we had the help from Kumar who did not leave our side, he arranged driver to pick us up from the airport and tours of the city along with our final drop off at the next hotel. The staff was the best part of MountBatten.
I loved the pool and the view from the pool. Loved the gardens, which were filled with birds in the morning, and I had a great time chatting with other guests on the verandah at breakfast.

Accommodation at Kresilda was the best we have had in Sri Lanka. It is beautiful villa with garden. Kresilda welcomed us warmly. We would like to come back 🙂
What a place! Once you get up there you'll be rewarded with the most amazing view up in the mountains, fresh air, and a relaxing swim in the pool. It's so calm, that you'll forget about all the bustle that stays behind just a few km away. The best place for both the sunrise and the sunset. And, of course, the room and the villa itself were very comfortable. The hosts were also very welcoming.
We only stayed one night at this Villa but would come back! The owner greeted us with some home made fruit drinks and let us use the room to put our baby to sleep even though it wasn't 100% ready yet. Very nice people and comfortable house with very big rooms!
The villa is truly amazing, and together with the kind and helpful staff, it makes you wonder why you didn't book this place any longer. The view on the river and waterfall redefines "relaxation"
We loved the location, it's on a hill and you can see the river below. There is plenty of space inside and outside the villa. We had an amazing tour of the land surrounding the villa and it was nice to see how people work and live there. The team took very good care of us and made sure we had the best time there. The food was truly amazing, a great expiriance of Sri Lankan national dishes. We will definitely be coming back.
