The location with panoramic ocean views was excellent. At times we could see 20-30 fishing boats on the sea and some much larger ships too.
The owner was very keen to make sure that we enjoyed our stay. He and his wife couldn’t have been more friendly.
There is plenty of parking and there are convenience stores and restaurants just a short stroll away.
The property is right by a main road along the sea front. There are double sliding glass doors, each door is double glazed. When closed, they offer a most impressive degree of soundproofing. If you want fresh air, there is a sliding screen door too. We generally slept with the glass doors open and just the screen door closed. The traffic noise didn’t worry us at all, but it was good to know that it could be shut out.
Situated in Yangyang, within 500 metres of Naksan Beach and 2.1 km of Seorak Beach, Naksanstay features accommodation with a terrace as well as free private parking for guests who drive.

Very friendly and even more musical host and hostess. One evening they gave a live music performance, with a bit of karaoke from our side and other guests.
About half an hour drive to the start of several great hikes in nearby National Park.
Perfect for families, groups or couples who enjoy luxury and independence while travelling. Enjoy the space and privacy of these fully-furnished, self-standing mansions — travellers can cook, lounge and explore at their leisure. Note that in Bali, a resort will also be called a villa.
My family and I had a wonderful time in the guest house. The level of cleanness, organization, and the host makes everyone welcomed besides the fact that she speaks English very well. Besides the fact that it is located near to the main beaches and Abai village.
Lovely characteristic guesthouse. Spacious rooms, a nice porch overlooking the river, and everything you need. The host/manager was super welcoming and helpful, giving us a ride to the park and the bus station!
The location is convenient for Seoraksan National Park and for Sokcho beaches. Frequent buses run to both. The village Seoraksan-Dong itself has a few convenience stores and simple traditional Korean restaurants, with good food. Mon-Thursday it's extremely quiet.
The location was great. Beachfront. Minutes to ferris wheel Sokcho Eye, 9 minute drive to Abai Village, restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance. In unit washer!
A trendy new hotel with great views over the Port and a top location to see all the main sights of Sokcho. The room was superb, the beds were super comfortable, and the bathroom was very modern with a cool electronic toilet. The rooftop lounge had wonderful views, especially at night, and the downstairs funky cafe served a buffet continental breakfast, which was included in our room rate.
Don't hesitate booking this cool hotel. It's luxury at a bargain price.
1) Excellent location — close to bus stop to Seoraksan National Patk. Inter-city Bus terminal, Abai village, the bridges, Central Market, Yeongnangho Lake are all within walking distance.
2) Room and attached bathroom are big
Tea and coffee are provide 24/7. More importantly, there are 3 types of tea bags eg camomile tea, and a flower tea
3) Manager Yoo is always there and is knowledgeable about the places to go and how to get to these places.
4) Free lockers for bag storage are available — just don’t lose the key 😃
Excellent location near the central market, walking distance to abai village and great restaurants in the vicinity. Apartment is extremely clean, comfortable, spacious and has everything you could ever need. And what a fantastic view to wake up to every morning.
The hosts were always so nice and helpful, even with the language barrier. The accomodation is near some restaurants and convenience stores, but it is more like a tourist/travel area than a village. It is very near the entrance to the Seoraksan National Park, it takes around 10 min by bus or 30-45 min walking to get there.
Given its a hostel the facilities are rather basic but it gives good value for your money. I liked that the hostel was small and cosy, and the owner was welcoming and helpful. The building is located within walking distance of the Fishery market and Abai village. The bus stop to Seoraksan park is also close.
