location and view was amazing, staff were lovely and the villa was beautiful. The owner Jun picked us up from shimoda train station and also dropped us back, thanks! As well as the villa, we received free surf boards, bicycles, snorkels and Jun even offered us one of his cars. 11/10

Pros: Inhouse onsen was the highlight during our stay. Unit is next to the river and so calming. I could have hot ramen outside of the house during the night. Owner was a couple, and they were so welcoming. Initially there was no instruction in collecting the key. Luckily the door was not locked and the owner just stay next door.

Very nice cottage and quiet environment by the forest. And we saw the fireflies at night time.
You can also do the BBQ during your stay. And the owners are very friendly and nice to guests, providing very useful and detailed information to us.

This place is amazing! We stayed in the treehouse villa and it was so lovely! We loved the design of the villas and the stay was very comfortable. Jun, the host, is very kind and will make your stay even better. He took us to the place where you can see the fireflies. It was like a dream. He also provided us with the best tips for the area, as well as for the rest of our roadtrip through Japan. I highly recommend this place. We are 4 weeks in Japan, and this was by far the best and most special place. We hope to come back in the future!
It was a great stay. It is a single house. You can enjoy whole property. We had BBQ. Property is in deep mountain better to do enough shopping before hand.
Beach is in walking distance. A quiet village will calm you down. It feels to enjoy the relax time.
The villa was beautiful and it was amazing to be able to see the sea from the bed.
The owner was very friendly, spoke good English, had great tips for food and places to go and things to do. He even gave us a lift to the station on our last day which was ideal!
Being able to use the bikes was perfect for us as we had no car and buses don't go so often.
It was an idyllic place and a very relaxed base to explore this beautiful part of Japan.
