Apartment itself was a very good fit for our family of 3 adults + 1 infant. Very comfortable, plenty of space. Additional plus for dishwasher and daily service.
Good beach nearby in Almyrida <1km away. Could be reached to without car, but for some people it may be hard to go back upstairs. But even with car it was easy to find parking place near the beach in the first half of August.
Very good location, pretty similar distance to all main attractions on this part of island, small supermarkets and restaurants within 5 minutes walk.
That rare case, that when going back to the Crete itself, I'll check this apartment first.

We had the most incredible experience during our Crete vacation at Nick's house! The host, Nick, was absolutely amazing and made us feel right at home. The house itself was perfect for our family, especially with kids. The big yard with a breathtaking view of the mountains and a grill for BBQs added to the charm.
The location was ideal as it was very close to the stunning beach and numerous restaurants. Our stay was truly unforgettable, and we were genuinely sad to leave. We can't wait to return! Nick's warm welcome and attentiveness made all the difference. He was always responsive to our questions and even helped us with a car rental recommendation.

Beautiful villa in lovely rustic and traditional village. Close (walkable) to village centre and shops and restaurants. Fantastic sea view and wonderful private pool. Host accommodating, easily contactable before and during stay, helpful and informative.
What a wonderful base to explore the surrounding area (and not far for day trips into Chania and Rethymo, also the south coast) and importantly enjoy the little villages of the immediate area. The house views are divine and such a delight to just sit and enjoy morning and evening. Very comfortable home and could have easily stayed for another week or two… thank you!!

The views were amazing, the Villa had everything anyone could need (all mod cons), modern facilities, comfy beds, a wonderful pool and pool area … Everything for an amazing stay. Wonderful apartment in a nice little village. Just a minute away from the village centre with grocers, a cafe, restaurant, and children's playground. The host was very nice, welcomed us with a basket of fresh eggs, and a parting bag of goodies for our little one.

Very comfortable downstairs apartment in a beautiful part of Crete. We were welcomed by the very friendly hostess, with a lovely home-made cake who briefly showed us around the apt. Very complete kitchen, including self produced olive oil and raki, eggs in the fridge, coffee, tea & bread. Two small terraces, very nice views. Great base for trips to beach, villages and towns. A couple of places to eat in the village.
