This was a perfect cottage that I booked while in the area for work. I found the property beautiful and peaceful, and made coming back after a long day's work to be enjoyable. I really felt at home when staying here. The hosts could not have been nicer or more hospitable. They gave great local recommendations, the room amenities with perfect, and they provided great conversation and tasty little cakes. I couldn't have enjoyed my stay anymore than I did, and if I return to the area for future work, I will definitely be staying here if they have an availability for me.

The barn is breathtaking. I stayed with my bridesmaids and got ready the next day. The space is beautifully lit and so well thought out.

Absolutely everything. From the friendly welcome from Fiona, location in the old town , the room was superb with luxury touches ie. Coffee bags toiletries . A fridge in the room to keep milk ( and wine ) cool . Lovely garden area to enjoy a tipple . What more can I say . I would definitely stay again if traveling south again . ( it was a stop over to break the journey) .
Having lived in the village for thirty years I had eaten and drunk in the establishment many time over the years. After moving away this was a return visit for one night. We had booked a petite double room but although nothing was said I suspect we may have been upgraded to a disability room perhaps in recognition of obvious age and walking ability. For this we were very grateful and comfortable appreciating the assistance aids that had been installed. (wall bars etc.) Staff friendly and professional. Dog friendly in room, bar and restaurant.

I messed up the booking by not specifying twin beds but the staff sorted it out and really looked after us, great breakfast. Didn't eat there in the evening but food looked really good. A cut above your normal pub stay.
The attention to detail with everything. It all felt very luxurious. The staff were very friendly. The rooms were very clean. The breakfast was plentiful and cooked to perfection. We had an evening meal there and it was delicious and good value for money.
The location was set in a lovely village with plenty of amenities and close to many attractions.
Was fortunate to come across this gem of a place.
