It was close enough to walk to places of interest. Plenty of cafés and bakeries close by, no worries of food or drinks.
Host welcomed us and had all things arranged and in place when we first arrived. Information was readily available of sights and attractions we might be interested in.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Keys pickup instructions are very clear so we had no issues to enter.
The house is warm and you can adjust the heating. Kitchen is fully equipped, rooms are cozy. I participated in Baxters Loch Ness 10K run race so was very happy to be very close to the Bught Park.

Great location in a wonderful village, room was really nice and met our needs. Awesome bar at the property with beer garden too for bar billiards & bean bag game.
It was very handy for its nearness to the centre of the village and for a local family wedding.
Plenty hot water, great shower and spotlessly clean linen. Very peaceful.
The location of the hotel was great for us, we were on a biking tour and it lets you get to the North of Scotland and back in a day. The hotel itself is fine, if a little tired. Very much a coach party hotel.
The little village is pretty and has a few restaurants. The Deli on the Square is superb and the Chinese restaurant is ok.
There was a band playing in the square when we arrived on a sunny saturday afternoon. Great to watch with a beer in hand.
