Inverness House, hotel in Strathpeffer

Boasting accommodation with a patio, Inverness House is situated in Inverness. The property is 2.6 km from Inverness Castle and 4.4 km from Caledonian Canal.

This property is the whole house and it suited us perfectly. As a base we were easily able to visit all the places of interest we had identified prior to visiting Inverness. Parking is on the street, but this is not a problem, there were so many free spaces we were always able to park very close to the house. It is quite a walk into the city (20-25mins) , but on a beautiful sunny day, the walk down through the parks and across the rivers into the city are fabulous. if you are looking for a base to visit the area, this property will be perfect.

It was very handy for its nearness to the centre of the village and for a local family wedding. Plenty hot water, great shower and spotlessly clean linen. Very peaceful.

The location of the hotel was great for us, we were on a biking tour and it lets you get to the North of Scotland and back in a day. The hotel itself is fine, if a little tired. Very much a coach party hotel. The little village is pretty and has a few restaurants. The Deli on the Square is superb and the Chinese restaurant is ok. There was a band playing in the square when we arrived on a sunny saturday afternoon. Great to watch with a beer in hand.
