This is an interesting building from the outside sitting as it does above the harbour. Inside it is extensively updated and is very comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. The updating is to such a high standard that it loses its historical nature quite significantly whilst inside. This is always a difficult balance to achieve. There are a number of drink/food outlets within a walkable distance across the harbour bridges. There is also a pleasant walk further along the headland to the sea.

Great home, lovely quiet location.
The welcome pack was a great touch ( drinks, teabags and sounds daft, but dishwasher and laundry tablets). The shower is fantastic. Really nice place.
Perfect for families, groups or couples who enjoy luxury and independence while travelling. Enjoy the space and privacy of these fully-furnished, self-standing mansions — travellers can cook, lounge and explore at their leisure. Note that in Bali, a resort will also be called a villa.
The cottage was incredible. Far exceeded our expectations. We had the most incredible time away and it was made perfect by this beautiful property. The location is insane with how close it is to the sea and other villages. Great to stay at if visiting Edinburgh too.
