Looks so small but extends further back then expected! The staff were so helpful and friendly at the pub attached for the keys collection and giving recommendations, the rooms were so comfortable and clean! Everything you need when you are visiting the village for a night!
The hotel is a former mansion and is very beautiful to looking at. My room was spotless and well provided with tea, coffee and hot chocolate facilities. The bed was so comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I had breakfast which was good value and well done. Plenty of everything you would expect.
The location was perfect! A nice quiet village with a beautiful canal to walk along. 12th Century church within easy walking distance. Lovely staff, very kind and always smiling. The food in the restaurant was awesome! Steak cooked to perfection. Highly recommended for couples and walkers ...... we will be back!
