Excellent place to stay. Cosy, comfortable lounge with wood burning stove (logs supplied). Good sized table suitable for eating together and playing games. Nice bathrooms, one with roll top bath, toiletries supplied. Kitchen is small but well equipped and has a full sized fridge/freezer. We appreciated the kind gestures such as the welcome pack and Christmas tree in the lounge. Walks from the house along the Rover Tweed. Short car journey to Peebles which has lots of independent shops and cafes.

The property was absolutely fantastic and I could not recommend anywhere more. I have never been so impressed with the cleanliness views and also kind hospitality and gestures. The place had a stunning view of the mountains and horses, and it was lovely to wake up to. Everything was very clean and well maintained and the staff were absolutely lovely and very helpful.
Perfect for families, groups or couples who enjoy luxury and independence while travelling. Enjoy the space and privacy of these fully-furnished, self-standing mansions — travellers can cook, lounge and explore at their leisure. Note that in Bali, a resort will also be called a villa.

Attention to detail. Luxuriously decorated with beautiful views . Close proximity to high street . Friendly helpful owner. Would love to return one day!
Perfect hot breakfast in luxurious dining room with wall-sized windows that frame the landscape. Comfortable bed. Nice shower gel, shampoo and body lotion provided.
It was lambing season and we were lucky enough to see the baby lambs and enjoy the animals . The cottages are beautiful and peaceful and really nicely fitted out - a real retreat and in reach of some amazing trails too.
The family that run the farm are super kind and welcoming and incredibly hard working - I would recommend this place to everybody and I will definately book again.
Location of hotel good for going to Peebles and surrounding villages. Room and position of it was excellent. Ideal as my husband is disabled. Walk in shower ideal.
Food was really nice and fairly priced and staff were really helpful and friendly.. Pool was lovely.
The property was very clean, comfortable, cosy and homely and it was lovely to receive a welcome gift. The bed was compact but comfortable and both the linen and towels were of a high luxurious standard. The proximity to local amenities was excellent.
Beautiful apartment with exceptional views and a little bit of luxury. Fire pit was a bonus! The host was great, went out of her way to help with my requests to help us decorate with birthday balloons which made the trip really special for my daughter's 16th birthday. Thoroughly recommend.
If you would like a taste of what it’s like to live in a luxurious Scottish Baronial home, this ticks all the boxes. From the grand outer facade, to the well appointed interior, we were treated like royalty for our one night visit. The food was to die for and the service was first class. For a romantic getaway or just for the opportunity to relax, go back in time and feel like the Lord or Lady of your own Manor, this is a must do.
beautiful classic mansion, with stunning views and beautiful gardens. the room was nobel, large, high ceilings and very comfi bed. great staff and food.
