Beautiful cottage, really lovely decor and so cosy. Had everything we needed in the kitchen for cooking a full meal. Photos don't do it justice - it is even more gorgeous in real life. The location was perfect for what we needed, you would ideally need a car to get about. The host was really friendly and helpful, helped us organise a taxi to the wedding we were attending and had the heating on for us arriving so it was lovely and warm. She had also left us fresh butter, eggs, scones and other bits and bobs in the kitchen to use as well as some toiletries in the bathroom. Plenty of space for 6 adults. It didn't bother us at all but there it is worth noting there is only one bathroom, however this wasn't a problem at all for us. We had a wonderful weekend. The garden was absolutely beautiful and the farm out the back was lovely seeing all the animals! Great place for pre-wedding photos as well. The bedrooms were lovely, really comfy beds, plenty of space to hang your clothes. Plenty of space for parking. There was also a swing outside and outdoor table for dining if the weather's nice!

If I could give this booking more stars, I would. Studio42 is a beautiful, clean, and welcoming space - Surrounded by the beauty, ruins, and liveliness you dream of when visiting Ireland. The best accommodation I’ve stayed in! You can tell so much thought and effort has been put into the place and it all feels so luxurious and comfortable. So much accommodation nowadays tries to get away with the bare minimum whereas this place goes above and beyond while remaining very reasonably priced. Can’t recommend enough!
I had the whole house to myself, luxury. I was in the top apartment, and had sole use of the kitchen. The hosts had supplied eggs, bread, coffee, what more could I need? Oh yes, a chip shop and a Chinese takeaway, both directly across the road. Perfect.
The resort is easy to find and well signposted. the cabin was very spacious and clean. I liked the option to order takeaway direct to the door and breakfast was also delivered to our cabin. A true rural retreat!
The best thing about the "Pod" was the little deck just in front of the room with a little table and two chairs, overlooking the river. But you can't sit outside when it is raining, so we had breakfast sitting on the sofa with the plates on our knees (I preferred standing). I wouldn't call that luxurious.
