Very comfortable place to stay with all the amenities needed and a great location! It was easy to get to via public transport and we had an enjoyable stay. Felt very luxurious with the furnishings and had all what we needed to make it feel homely.. Janet was lovely to deal with, very friendly and professional and answered any enquiries that I had. There is some great history surrounding the local area, which is highlighted in various places throughout the communal areas & the reception/bar area is very welcoming - it does feel like you are in a more luxurious hotel. We didn't have dinner or breakfast so can't make any comments on that - but we did have a good nights sleep, the bed was comfortable & the bathroom was modern and well equipped.
Beautiful location, excellent bar and restaurant with a wide range of meals on the menu. The staff were friendly and really helpful, especially the lovely Vanessa. We had an issue with our ironing board but this was put right incredibly quickly. We had a luxury double which was very spacious, with separate desk, coffe table and armchairs. The bathroom was huge, with both walk-in shower and bath. We'd be very happy to stay in this room again.
Not much to like! It was very basic, no shampoo or a hair dryer,
There was nothing luxurious about the room (luxurious double room?). The only thing favourable was that it was fairly clean.
Breakfast was good you could have continental and cooked breakfast it is very close to motorway and its on the flight path to Gatwick Airport so you constantly hear planes coming into land.and its Purley an golf retreat and wedding venue.
Staff were incredibly welcoming and accomodating. Provided with a free upgrade to the superior suite which was outstanding. Huge bed, luxury shower, tea and coffee making facilities, complimentary biscuits and fruit. Had a lovely relaxing evening. Bath was amazing. Absolutely no faults.
I like the staff they were really helpful and accommodated me really well. I like the room I was given because it looks like a luxury suite to me and it was very comfortable and cosy and it is close to the West and East Croydon station within a walking distance from each other and also the town centre. I really enjoyed my stay here.
