Robin Hill Cottage, hotel in Amesbury

Robin Hill Cottage is a recently renovated villa in Amesbury where guests can make the most of the garden and barbecue facilities.

The cottage in the back of the property was well appointed with comfy beds, nice bathrooms (one and a half), and a petite but fully equipped kitchen. The walk to the village was easy, even at night. Food was provided to make a nice breakfast. The hostess was very helpful. Lovely stay.

Residential 3 bed house Harnham, hotel in Amesbury

Residential 3 bed house Harnham is a recently renovated vacation home in Salisbury where guests can make the most of the garden and barbecue facilities.

After a 9 hour drive from Scotland we arrived. Sadly we weren't able to make a holiday stay out of the house and village as we arrived late and had to leave early in the morning. We made Andrew our host aware of this and he couldn't have been more accommodating. He made sure we could get in the house in his absence and left us a very helpful welcome pack. The house was very clean and tidy and very comfortable. It felt like we were in any of our own homes which after a very long drive was exactly what we needed. We have no issues at all with our stay and will be coming back for our trip next year if the dates are available.

It is based on a farm with the option to wonder around for free. There is animal feed available if interested, a restaurant/café which is nice to pop into but only offers the basics within the shop for those residing here. However the restaurant does offer amazing food. Its idyllic, quiet and peaceful, a good place for a retreat or to go somewhere if you are a travelling artist or writer.
